i think we would all be better off if the state had more freedom in economic and monetary areas. each state is unique with its own certain economy. one federal policy of taxation, spending, regulation, and monetary policy is not suitable or efficient and effective for 50 different economies. the european union is experiencing the same type of problems. the original goal of the federalists in securing free trade among the states and the ability to tax were needed-but our federal government has a hunger of ignorance thats never satisfied. when they intrude into the states ability to operate an efficient economy they abuse their power. anyways i hope that helped and best wishes
